As the largest sports field in Denpasar, the village regularly holds various sports events such as sport competitions which are organized event where individuals or teams compete against each other in a specific sport to determine a winner. These competitions can range from local community events to international tournaments, covering various sports such as football, athletics, running, and more.

Car Free Day (CFD) is an event where certain roads are closed to motorized vehicles in Sumerta Kelod Village started at 6 to 9 AM every Saturday and Sunday, to promote eco-friendly transportation, health, and community activities. The goal is to reduce air pollution, encourage walking, cycling, and outdoor activities, and create a safer, more social urban space.
